Training

The MaS Method is not limited to the dynamic interactions of the GaS Meetings, but also involves training and global research activities, based on the new interpretative vision developed by Loiacono in his "Global Epistemology ", which is at the heart of the Metodo alla Salute.

Regular courses are held in “Global Epistemology and Group Dynamics” for Group participants and anyone who has taken part in GaS meetings (family members, healthcare and social workers, students, etc.). These courses aim to develop the skills of interpreting and "global" management of the dynamics that characterize an individual's experiences, strong relationships and group relations.

Course participants gain the skills to become first-grade “Travel Companions” of GaS Meetings.

The training of group leaders, for which personal participation in GaS Meetings is a primary condition, along with initiation in the process of regenerating their specific natures, includes weekly supervision meetings held at the Centre for Social Medicine, where “Travel Companions” discuss the experience of leading groups.
Monthly “global training” sessions are held on important topics of common interest (sexuality, psychoses, relationships, etc.), where, using the dareforma method (literally "giving shape"), each participant acquires the theoretical and practical skills to pass on their personal experience and ideas regarding that particular topic. The material emerging from these sessions is examined in the light of the “Global Epistemology” and the interpretation models known as the “Communitometer", the "Iceberg" , the "Partiality Trunk" and the "Sarvas Pyramid", which explore the structural aspects of life and its mechanisms.
