A travelling community
Often the people involved in the global community move around the country, using the journey as a time of growth and exchange. As well as being an important experience for maturing, these journeys provide an opportunity to get to know the MaS Method and the Global Community in different parts of Italy.
In this respect, particularly important are the "Itinerant meetings" which last for about one week, where the Global Community travels to places where their presence is required.
The daily schedule varies greatly. This trips usually correspond to conferences, GaS Meetings held with local people, meetings with local bodies and associations or "MaS Birthday" celebrations held for people whose lifestyle has changed considerably over the previous year.
There are many opportunities for celebration and simply having fun, involving local inhabitants.
We also hold what are called "Travelling Sundays", which are day excursions (held mainly on Sundays) to places that can be reached in a few hours, usually towns or cities of residence of one or more members of the Global Community.
The day is partly spent visiting the city and meeting its inhabitants, and partly in a non-religious ritual called "Travelling Sunday".
